Welcome Winter! The holidays really brighten up the season, but special occasion eating can make it challenging to lose weight or even to maintain. Here’s how to navigate gatherings successfully. As winter goes on, sometimes “cabin-fever” strikes, causing overeating. Try other activities instead, such as learning something new, or occupying your mind with a good book or puzzle. Getting active is also helpful. When the weather is agreeable, walking outdoors is a great way to get some fresh air and burn extra calories. When the weather is not so cooperative, you may want to think of some indoor activities you could do. Wishing you a wonderful winter!
