Welcome all new comers ... The cheapest microchipping at a private vet is Bothasig Citivet (this is between about 6 vets that I called to compare) @ R240. Some of the welfares also are catching on to this and are offering microchipping at cheaper rates, I will advertise as soon as i see a poster when they have their next chip day! If you see it before me, please do post! ( these are between R100 and R150 ). If you cannot afford this, please please please put a name tag on your dog / cats collar to ensure they are returned quickly. They are R35 at edgemead Barksole, or there is a guy that sits outside Pick n Pay Plattekloof / Woolies on odd weeekends and he charges round the same. Alternatively the Vet Shops also offer a type of tag. We all try take precautions to make sure our pets dont get lost, but it happens even to the most cautious of people. I dont know about any of you, but my worst fear is not knowing if my pet is safe, warm, fed... the unknown is a very scary thing ... so please, dont wait another day - IDENTIFY YOUR PETS.
