Thursday, October 31 3:00p Games Studios Conference Room, Building 130 Bally Technologies, Inc. is a diversified, worldwide gaming company that designs,manufactures, distributes, and operates gaming devices and computerized monitoring, accounting and player-tracking systems for gaming devices. About the speakers: Dustin Demonja graduated from Full Sail with a Master of Science in Game Design. Since graduating he has worked in the Social/Mobile and Indy development game spaces working on various projects shipping games on Facebook, iOS, and Android platforms. Currently at Bally Technologies he is the Game Development Technical Writer and is responsible for writing and maintaining production level documentation for the Game Development department, development standards, and in game help screens or usability copy for the games that are produced at Ballys Las Vegas development center. He is also the Associate Producer for the Rogue Productions, Heads Up, and Live Wires game development Studios. Shawn Soong is a 7-year veteran of the gaming industry. He got his start as afreelancer, designing and analyzing the math for new table games. Currently at Bally Technologies, Shawn is the Game Producer for the Thrill Switch, Sin City Diablos, and Sushi Monkey studios. As a Game Producer, he is responsible for all aspects of a slot machine’s development, starting with the game’s concept and design and continuing through the entire development process. His recent credits include The Magic of David Copperfield, Cash Wheel featuring Quick Hit, and Betty Boop’s World Tour. He has also designed the math and game play for other Bally hits including Cash Spin, Code Red, and Hot Spin. In addition to his role as a Game Producer, Shawn oversees the company’s help screen standards and math design and development, and acts as an advocate for Bally’s games with regulators around the world.
