Welcome home! About 125 Soldiers from 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, returned home from Afghanistan early this morning. The 3rd Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment uncased its colors at the ceremony The 4th IBCT Soldiers deployed to Afghanistan to Regional Command-South region in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in March 2014. The Soldiers, who were originally to be deployed for nine months, are returning back to Fort Carson early as part of the phased reduction of troops in Afghanistan.
