Welcome to Day 5! Here are your challenges: Day 5 Nutrition Tip: Now that we’ve removed too much simple carbs that can wreak havoc on your digestive system because of an overload of enzymes your body secretes to process it, we will now restore healthy gut environment in order to make sure you absorb nutrients and minerals properly. We can achieve this by taking in a prebiotic (i.e. supplements or plant sources such as onions, asparagus, banana, fortified cereals) and probiotics (i.e. yakult, greek yogurt).
