Welcome to Duncan W. from Narragansett RI - 1/6/15 Duncan W. is a ~4.5 yr old neutered male English Mastiff from Narragansett RI. Duncan and his sibling littermate named Bonnie are one of the few cases I encounter where littermates, who are kept together past 8 weeks of age, have not developed into the very serious behaviorally challenging Littermate Syndrome. For more information about what can, and most time does, happen when littermates are not separated from each other at the 7-8 week mark - please Google the term: Littermate Syndrome. Aside from that, Duncan is here for our Basic Manners & Obedience Program. Not because he has a host of negative behavioral issues, quite to the contrary - this boy is sweet and wonderful. However, his owners felt that he would benefit from time spent with a Pack in a natural training environment so we could help him improve a few points that would make life with Duncan that much better. Not all dogs that come to us have serious behavioral issues. Some highly committed owners can clearly see the benefit to their dog(s) when they are allowed to work with an experience Pack (both human and canine) to subtly and organically improve their overall communication and behavioral repertoire. We are honored to be entrusted with these dogs care and take our task very seriously. Duncan is a beautiful boy and we are excited to help him improve his sociability and overall behavior.
