Welcome to Enlightening Up! Our website is under construction at EnLighteningUp. The magazine is scheduled to launch 10/1/2014. Iowa is a great place to live, and one of the reasons is its vibrant spiritual and holistic community. A favorite gathering place for our metaphysical family is the monthly meeting of The Common Thread, where we are able to pick up The Edge magazine, a monthly tabloid published in the Twin Cities. This is a good publication, but as I said, its focus is on activities and events in the Minneapolis area. We decided we should have our own magazine and set about making it happen. The three of us got together to discuss possibilities and strategies, and Enlightening Up was born! As you can see, our website is currently under construction, and we are busily planning our first issue to be released October 1, 2014. This is a magazine for you, and we invite your story ideas, submissions, and comments. Our vision is to share activities and services of interest to our spiritual community, while at the same time maintaining our commitment to being positive, helpful, educational, and informative. We are eager to join you as we all move toward Enlightening Up! Stay Tuned for the launch of our 1st Edition on October 1st, 2014
