Welcome to Josh and Wes Myers. 11U - Josh Myers will be joining the A’s staff and leading the 11U team next season. While Josh has a son, Luke, playing on the 12U A’s, Josh was the head coach of the Johnstown Heat 11U team this past season and led them to a division championship in COYBL. He’s led the team since its inception three years ago, but Johnstown will not field a team in 2014. We’ve developed a great relationship with Josh on and off the field over the past three years and are looking forward to having him join the A’s organization. In addition to his experience coaching the Johnstown Heat travel baseball team, here’s some other quick highlights from Josh’s bio: · Social Studies and Mathematics Teacher at Johnstown for 10 years, Grades 7 and 8 - 2010 Coughlin “You Made a Difference” award recipient · He played his high school baseball at Pickerington High School, and went on to play 2 years at OSU-Newark. · He’s also participated as a volunteer assistant at practices/camps/clinics with the high school and middle school baseball teams. · He was one of two final candidates for the Johnstown High School 2014 head baseball coach position · Middle School Football – assistant coach · Coached other Youth Baseball and Football teams at all levels
