Sui Juris is Latin meaning Of ones own law; having full legal capacity; one who is not under the power of another, as a slave, a minor, and the like; possessing full civil and social rights to act on his or her own without being subject to parental or a guardians authority; literally meaning in my own jurisdiction The English word “autonomous” is derived from the Ancient Greek αυτονόμος (from autos - self, and nomos - law) which corresponds to the Latin Sui Juris. No one in this group is making any claims to the accuracy or veracity of anything posted on the group page. As an open-source social platform, it is expected that the process of self-correction will occur naturally by the regular engagement in respectful dialogue between the intelligent and knowledgable persons constituting this group.
