Welcome to Mouth Cancer Action Month. This campaign is running throughout November to encourage awareness of this awful disease. It is estimated that over the next 10 years, 60 000 people will be diagnosed with mouth cancer. Without early detection, around 30 000 will die. We will be bringing you regular posts on symptoms and risk factors as well as steps you can take to reduce the chances of being affected. The underlying message is this: If in doubt, get checked out! Its that easy.
