Welcome to October and fall is about to come forth on the land. A strong storm system will move into Kentucky on Thursday into Thursday night. During afternoon Thursday, the risk of heavy, gusty thunderstorms and incidents of flash flooding will be possible across the region. The storms will fire along the systems advancing cold front and is expected to form a squall line. The greatest risk of damaging thunderstorms with hail and strong winds approaching near 60 mph will occur along the line late Thursday evening. All Christian County Storm Spotters and Intercept Teams will elevate to alert Yellow at 5 PM CDT Thursday as a precaution. Not too concerned with severe potential just yet...but keeping a close eye on it. Highs by Saturday are now expected to be in the upper 50s. A Thought; I am passionate about the things that I believe in like protecting my fellow man from storms, equality, free will, justice and love. I want to be judged by who I am as a person, not by what happened to me. I have lost so many friends and they all still hurt...especially those I lost to the storms. Sometimes I wonder why I survived what I do while they all perished. I dont know. In fact, all the bad things have only contributed to my confidence and sense of self, because I survived them and I became a better and stronger person from the hurt. May you all rest well my friends...it may be a little rocky Thursday night.
