Welcome to ROMANS. Read Romans 1: 1-17 Paul wasnt guessing about Gods call on his life, he knew clearly that he has been called to be an Apostle but an apostle of what? THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. I have often seen people declare the assignment that God has given them and I usually look for one thing, DOES IT SPEAKS OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST? No matter the office, work or ministry that God has called you into, the ultimate purpose is to preach the gospel. You may call yourself a deliverance minister, a prophet, Snr Apostle etc if your work doesnt bring people to/establish them in Christ that calling isnt from Christ. Paul declared in Vs 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek The gospel of Christ is the answer to the many woes in the world. We shouldnt be ashamed of sharing our faith. If you are praying to God to reveal His plan for your life, you should know that the bigger plan is the salvation of men and it is within that plan that your assignment will be given. Pulpits may be different but the ultimate purpose is the same. Your own pulpit may be in banking, in the health sector, in agriculture etc but make sure you use your pulpit to the maximum because you will give account to God. Begin today if you havent started.
