Welcome to Wednesday my Lovely friends! Our Amazing toddlers began their day with a few activities to begin their Morning, these activities consisted of Alphabet blocks, construction, drawing and listening to their favorite nursery rhymes. the children then participated in a language group time with educator Vivian. The children were given the opportunity to enhance on their language skills by listening to a book called " time for bed." and Animal Farm." the children then sung a variety of nursery rhymes such as twinkle twinkle little star, open shut them, the wheels on the bus and the ABC song. The children then enhance don their manipulative skills by participating in a dough experience. the children manipulated the dough into any shape or form creating little circles, and shapes using various utensils. the toddlers were able to share the utensils amongst themselves and interact positively with their friends. the toddlers were then given the opportunity to participate in some SPRING art and craft. the children placed colored tissue paper on their sun flowers. the children interacted positively with the educator and with their friends as they placed the tissue paper on the PVA glue area. the children were then instructed to wash their hands in the red bucket. Amara, Imarni, Amali, Rim, Lana, Siyana and Taha each created their sun flowers. Children also participated in Home corner, Magnetic blocks, Quiet book corner, Drawing, Hand printing and dancing imitating the ABC frog and dancing to HI5 songs! we had a very productive day here in the toddler room, we look forward to seeing all our amazing friends again soon!
