Welcome to all the new family members of Alpha Company 2nd Battalion 19th Infantry. We are looking forward to the next fourteen weeks and having you on this Facebook page. The Commanders Letter and other important information will be posted on this page over the next few days. Please check back frequently for updates of your Soldiers during this important time of his life. We ask that all family members read the following notes prior to posting on this page: operations security, the rules for use of this Facebook page, and mail information. We recommend that everyone read the entire mail information note as it contains all information on how to address mail to the Soldiers (including the colored dots) and provides information on the mail delivery system. We also ask that everyone wait until after the initial phone calls (within the next 24 hours) to verify that your Soldier is in fact beginning OSUT with Alpha Company. The notes can be located on the more tab located above, if you are not displaying a notes button. If your Soldier does not communicate his Roster Number to you during his initial phone call, please send a private message (not a post!) to this page with your Soldiers full name. We will respond within 72 hours to all requests. Please do not post your Soldiers personal information as we cannot respond to comments/posts on the page with this information.
