Welcome to another frosty evening here at goals and even though the temperature drops to below 0 degrees the footballing action continues to heat up. Tonights featured game was Man Tity vs Colonel Getafe, a fixture that always produces some brilliant football. Here are the line ups: Man Tity: Payner Mitch Fraser James Paul Steve Colonel Getafe: Adam Nick Matt Jack Ben Jim Matt 1st half: Both teams were up for this as this was always going to be a close battle of two very talented football teams. The game gets off to a flying start and both teams were incredibly vocal in an attempt to emphasise the importance of this game. Jim gets Colonel Getafe off and running with a cool finish. Fraser then equalises for Man Tity. Jim then pops another one in to give Getafe the lead once more. Matt the gave Getafe a one goal cushion to make it 3-1. Determined to not let the game get away from them Man Tity did reduce the deposit to one when Fraser guided one in very impressively. This was the only action of the first half as both teams were very organised it was hard for either team to break their opponents down. It was a physical game due to both teams hunger to claim three points. Payner made some quality saves down low to keep Man Tity in the game, Jim and Nick looking threatening for Colonel Getafe. Half time score Man Tity 2-3 Colonel Getafe. 2nd half: So after the half time team talks then it was back to the action and the next couple of goals were vital in this game. Both teams knew this as it was a relatively slow start to the second half. However it was that man Jim again who drew first blood in the second half to claw back. The 2 goal advantage for Getafe. However Jim was involved in the next highlight but this time for the wrong reasons as he passed directly back to his keeper and conceded a penalty which Paul converted to bring the score back to 3-4. Jack then used his brightly coloured socks to score an absolute worldie that curled literally into the top corner giving Payner no chance! Great goal! Jack added a second to his tally again when he slid one in for a tight angle. Colonel Getafe were now 6-3 up and this game was starting to get away from Man Tity who were slowly tiring. Jim did then finish the game off with 2 more goals of his own and was by far man of the match tonight! Overall this was another great fixture and a brilliant game to watch!
