Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year! We are off to a smooth start due to the efforts of staff, students, and parents. The SESD Business Advisory recently met to explore partnership opportunities. On the student side, these include internships, shadowing experiences, mentoring programs, and externships as well as work-study. In particular, high school juniors and seniors can access a broad range of experiences...but rarely do. Identified as key to the success of such initiatives was the awareness of parents, who often serve to motivate their children to take advantage of these rich learning experiences.
