Just imagine youre describing your photo to a blind person, and write that down. Accessibility starts at home - if were not willing to make an access group accessible to all of our members, what hope is there for the rest of Australia? There are plenty of blind people on Facebook - and many of them use screen reader technology to convert text into speech, so they know what the webpage (email, document, etc) says. Screen reader technology cannot interpret images. Since this group is mostly about images, a description of EVERY photo must be provided in the post (not in the comments). If you forget, just edit your post to add the description. Thanks! Some of the possibilities of inaccessible areas you might address include: - shops - schools, universities, daycare facilities - walkways, ramps, paths, kerb cuts (or the lack of) - poorly constructed (in)accessible parking spaces - playgrounds, gyms, and leisure facilities - theatres, community centres, places of worship - aged care - government buildings, courthouses, post offices, police stations - polling stations - restaurants, pubs, and cafés - clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and other healthcare facilities - hotels and holiday parks - toilets - workplaces of all kinds - and many other places.
