Welcome to the League! ◄EXPECTED START DATE FOR THE LEAGUE: OCTOBER 14th, 2014► This Season there will be NO ENTRY FEE. If you guys want to keep having prizes in future seasons there might be an entry fee in the future, but for now it’s FREE! And I’m happy to pay for the prizes myself. This season will be 8 weeks. (unless we generate so many people’s interest that we have more than 8 teams and we need more weeks, but I doubt that will happen.) ◙◙◙◙◙◙ RULES: ◙◙◙◙◙◙ 1) You MUST submit a character to play as for the ENTIREITY of the season (8 weeks this season) and may NOT change once the season has started. 2) Each week YOUR TEAM will face off against another team in the league with these rules: ♦ 3 members will face off against another teams 3 members in 1 on 1 matches, 2 out of 3 overall wins takes home a win for the team for the week. EVEN if a team has already lost for the week because the opposing team has already won 2 out of 3 match-ups, you MUST complete the 3rd match-up for your individual record in the league. ♦ FIGHTS will be: 3 stocks, No Items, on a “Final Destination Styled” stage or approved stages. Must win 2 of 3 fights against your individual opponent for the week. ♦ YOUR team will face a different team each week, you’ll play each team in the League AT LEAST ONCE before the season can end. Your opponent from opposing team will be selected by random draw. ♦ For the individual matches: You MUST BOTH report your results for the week so WRITE THEM DOWN, write down your individual statistics for each fight (KOs and DEATHS) AS WELL AS your opponents. Report your outcomes to me or in the group where I can see it immediately following the matches. ◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙ TEAM RULES: ◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙ 1) All Teammates MUST have a facebook and join the group 2) You must create a team name. 3) Teams may only have a ♦MAXIMUM: 4 Members♦ and a ♦MINIMUM: 3 Members♦ 4) For only ONE (1) week of the season, you are permitted to use a SUBSTITUTE (A fellow teammate who is already fighting that week DOES qualify to fight a 2nd or 3rd time in the substitute week) if ONE or ALL of your teammates are unable or unavailable to compete, a SUBSTITUTE can fight in their place. But ONLY ONCE. 5) IF, you have used your SUBSTITUTE for the season, and only TWO (2) members can compete for the week, You MAY still compete, however, you’ll be playing the week with a handicap and your 3rd matchup for the week will be an automatic LOSS against you and 1 of your teammates must take a LOSS and 3 deaths on their personal league record. And if ONLY 1 MEMBER is able and available and your substitute is gone…you forfeit for the week and 3 members must take a loss and 3 deaths on their personal league records. 6) TEAMS OF 4: Be reasonable. You MUST allow all of your teammates to participate, So get in the habit of alternating with the 3 that fight each week. ♦NOTE: IF your 4th teammate NEVER FIGHTS the WHOLE season, and YOUR TEAM WINS the season, they will NOT receive a prize.♦ GOOD LUCK! The Prize for this upcoming season is Game Stop Gift Cards for all team members of the team that wins the season. If you have a problem with that prize, message me at the appropriate time (if your team wins lol) and we’ll work out a different prize.
