We ❤️ the gondola ride , the colourful scenery , w/c gave us the excitement on reaching this summit :) Its really a WOW , and those lovely view are really worth the wait ..... Wikipedia : Mont Tremblant Ski Resort ( known as Tremblant ) is a year round resort in thr Laurentian Mountains of Quebec , Canada , about 130 Km ( 80 mi ) northwest of Montreal . It is best known as a ski destination , but also feaurures a lake suitable for swimming & 2 golf courses in the summer months . The name of the mountain , Mont Tremblant , was derived from the local Algonquin natives , who called it the trembling mountain . The summit is at an elevation of 875 meters ( 2,871ft ) w/c makes it one of the tallest peaks in the Laurentians .
