Welcome to the first day of Meteorological Winter...December 1 through February 28 is considered the heart of Winter, but of course we know Mother Nature doesnt follow an exact calendar. It can snow in November as well as March. The pattern coming up for the first ten days of December looks CLOUDY for many in the Southern US. Several systems will travel across Texas, Oklahoma to the Carolinas and Virginias in the next ten days. There will be a lot of cold air to the north, some Big Damming type of Highs, but the overall arching theme will be cloudy, cloudy, cloudy, more often than not From Texas to the Carolinas. Get out and enjoy the brief sunshine while you can. Heres a look an approximated look at the extensive, repeating cloud cover from Tomorrow until December 11th.
