Welcome to the new year!! Well, what a freaking year 2014 was. My debut album, The Reckoning has been received quite well across many public forums, and individual listeners which has been really great. My fan page, has just over 350 likes, and I have completed writing my first song since the release of the album, and am currently working on another one for the next album. It never ends. Phew. Currently, the next steps are: 1) Get vocals onto The Reckoning. We (the vocalist and I) are currently in the demo stage of this, but it seems to be coming along nicely, which is always great. I will keep everybody posted of course. 2) Continue writing powerful, meaningful music. Easier said than done, but it is most certainly achievable. I want my next album to push my musicality as an artist, and really give the listeners something to fully bite into. More leads, more melodic passages, etcetera, are all options I am excited to delve more into. Look for lots of writing in 2015, because its time to buckle down for the writing process for the next album. Is it 2016 yet? ;)
