Welcome to the week everybody! Ive got a rough start to my Monday morning and therefore needed to redirect my focus for a brief moment from work to something much more important. In 1967 The Parliaments released this tune, All Your Goodies Are Gone, on the short lived but ever so impactful Detroit label, Revilot. Fast forward to 2011, when the legendary guitarist Dennis Coffey of Funk Brothers fame (and oh so much more) released his self titled album on Strut records. Amongst the many great tracks on that album is a cover of All Your Goodies Are Gone, featuring Mayer Hawthorne. The result is this, which on the 45 is backed with a Dennis Coffey / Kings Go Forth collaboration titled Miss Millie.
