Welcome to this bi-lingual dutch/english facebookgroup. It is about the transformation of the current economy to a more sustainable, just, equal and free abundant prosperity for every member of humanity. It mainly focusses on the international community in Amsterdam, to exchange ideas and tips and to bring inspiring ideas and examples arising worldwide into practice locally. Amsterdam, as an international city, where many languages are spoken, has great opportunities for exchange and peaceful cooperation, as shown in the fields of urban agriculture, human rights and social activism, the arts, science and business. To tackle the change of the economy on a fundamental level we will look at the property-rights of natural resources and the monopoly of the creation and issuing of money by the privately owned banking system. On a large scale, as an alternative, national or worldwide level, money could be issued as a partial basic income, backed by everyones fair share in the world-natural-resources. On a small scale, we will buy, rent, squat, occupy , receive or share land and space. Participants will get an equal fee as community-currency, representing their share in the common land and space. The land will be managed in a permaculture-way. In the city land and space will be used for practicing and working with this community-currency as a game and experimenting on a playground/community-garden. Gradually, as more land outside the city will be acquired, it can be applied to projects like Community Supported Agriculture and eco-villages. Apart from permaculture, inspiration for this project comes from traditional community-leaders, human rights activists, social reformers and philosophers like Chief Seattle, Thomas Paine, Leon Tolstoy, Henry George, Gandhi, Vandana Shiva and Charles Eisenstein. If you want to participate or contribute actively in organizing or networking, send me a personal message or add me as a friend, so we can invite one another for events. Looking forward to meet you! As a summary of the basic philosophy and inspiration , as expressed by Charles Eisenstein, you can watch this video on Sacred Economics : youtube/watch?v=EEZkQv25uEs
