Well - still waiting.... Jennett had a fairly restful night. There was a lot of changing position, but not a lot of panting and no contractions. Still not eating her kibbles (and yogurt and liver topping). At 6 SM her temp dropped to 97. At 8 AM it was up to 97.2. At 10:30 it drooped to 96.7. Now there is a lot of digging. So well continue to wait.. I put her in her crate for a little while as she really seems determined to have them on the single bed in the whelping room (or in the hole she was trying to dig outside when we went out for her to potty). I cant leave her alone as she jumps the 36 inch ex-pen I have around the whelping box and makes the 2 foot span onto the bed. Not something I want her doing (and she is never a jumper - onto the couch is about her limit, usually!) and the other dogs needed to go out and have some playtime. Now well all go back to waiting. Thanks, everyone, for your interest and concern. Its much appreciated. More when it happens...
