Well - what a hectic couple of weeks - some days didnt go to plan, other days exceeded expectations! Two weeks annual leave started with the Uckfield Blues & Roots Festival with a cracking line up and lots of fun helping to organise various aspects of said fest. Then Mothers birthday treat to the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, had to be aborted due to her falling backwards down the up escalator at Gunwharf Quays and spending the day in A&E in Cosham instead, this lead me to miss my treat of a trip to London and the Shard with the Townie :( . A great gig with the Jo Harman posse in Chichester on Friday, another aborted day at Musicmania on Saturday when I found I was surplus to requirements so a day of gardening ensued instead. Monday dawned and the Townie came to stay for the week and trips to Arundel and Bodiam were had. Then on Thursday we were off to the fantastic Bentworth Blues Festival where last years acquaintances were renewed and new friends made to a backdrop of fantastic music and bands. Ive one more day off tomorrow, then I go back to work for a rest ;)
