Well - youve waited patiently dudes and dudettes......here is the EPIC NEWS............ WEAPON HEAD HAVE JUST ANNOUNCED THEIR FIRST LIVE SHOW IN 4 YEARS!!! The original line up of Boris Billing, Steve Bishop, Dave Bishop and Drew Allen will be gracing the stage of their hallowed stomping ground where they cut their teeth way back in the early 2000s - The notorious Snake Pit @ The Queensland Hotel in Goondiwindi on Friday October the 3rd 2014. In a move that has surprised and delighted plenty of rock starved fans of the band - there will be no stone left unturned for this night of sheer power. Known for their huge live shows, Weapon Head will be unleashing the biggest production system they have ever used with their old partner in crime Garry Kieffer and Pinknoize Audio. Along with this massive light and sound rig, the band has enlisted a 6 man live camera crew, the entire gig will be recorded and released as a live DVD, with all the trimmings including flame throwers! Boris - We are so freakin stoked to be in the position in our lives to be able to put this show together and play those songs for each other and for our fans. Its been a long time, a lot has happened and not all of it was pretty. We have had our ups and downs like all bands, and as a group of mates, musicians and music fans - we have never been closer - it has come full circle - and we are a solid brotherhood - more solid than weve ever been. We are immensely proud of the body of work that we released and we cant wait to hit the stage and melt faces with it again! In another curve ball manouvre - Boris is also unleashing his new band BRIMSTONE on the unsuspecting public on the same night! BRIMSTONE is a totally different band to Weapon Head - with one music fan describing the sound as Alice In Chains being raped by White Zombie while Bon Scott and Ozzy Osbourne were pissing on it....INTERESTING! This show will be Pre-Ticketed online through oztix and also physically at The Leichhardt Garden Centre - LIMITED NUMBERS!!! All tickets will become available for sale this Friday August the 8th.
