Well 2014 was the roughest year of my life by far. I was very sick this time last year and didnt get to enjoy the holidays at all. I found out a few days later that I had a brain tumor. News like that has a way of knocking the wind out of ya. It also makes you look at life differently. All of those things that I once thought was important...are not! So I listened closely and hung on to the words my wonderful doctor said when he told me I had a tumor just consider this the winter from hell 2014 and then move on. So I did! By the time winter was over, I was starting to feel a little more like myself again. So I enjoyed the rest of the year with my wonderful hubby, family and friends. We went on our first train ride. We went racing with our friends on the weekends. We bought a new camper and camped, cooked out and danced! We took our annual trip to Eldora, but extended it to a full week this year! Our family and friends camped with us, even my Daddy went to Eldora! Dee and I had our annual baking extravaganza and fixed pumpkin rolls, candy, cakes, etc. the night before Thanksgiving! We fixed Thanksgiving dinner at our house and had a wonderful time with my family. We added our newest family member, our furbaby, Cooper. Cooper is the best Christmas present ever! I wasnt sick and got to enjoy every minute of Christmas this year! Plus, we are planning on some good Rook games and ringing in the New Year with wonderful friends at our house tomorrow night. I cant think of a better way to wrap up the year! So in spite of the horrible start to the New Year, Ive been blessed with so much love and wonderful memories of 2014. Im looking forward to what 2015 has in store for me and Fish and our family. I pray God blesses us and keeps us all healthy in 2015! Happy New Year!
