Well 2015 is nearly here and I have to say 2014 has been Ana amazing year for uskate .... We have had the joy of teaching 45 children a week at Horrabrisge primary and Lamerton schools, we became the skatepark committee for saltmill skatepark and organised the first community Funday at saltmill skatepark to now grow every year set to have our second in august 2015.. We joined magical youth at Beautiful days and have been invited to join the all session next year... Plus we become the childrens area at the godney gathering and will be joining them again next year too. We have supported many events locally and nationally bringing circus skills to 100s of children. We organised and planned saltmill skatepark open day while supporting groundworks to help provide more for young people within saltash... We created uskate circus shop that is now selling products world wide, plus uskate parties that is being booked weekly for birthday parties, wedding entertainment, stilt walking performers, light shows and more.... We took on our first apprentices Jordan Everett and have loved being a part of his personal growth a true pleasure to watch his confidence and self worth starting to shine through.... We have been booked to become a regular activity at Woodovis holiday park in all holidays... We have over 30 volunteers aged from 12-29 and feel blessed to have new volunteers joining daily... We have confirmed with the owners of our new premises that they are happy to work with us and get the lease signed in January 2015 where we can create a training base to help progress the skills of all users, coaches, volunteers and apprentices, as you can see its been a very busy but rewarding year and we are so thank full to have the support of all you amazing people and hope you will all continue to support us through the future growth of Uskate Cic.... Oh and we also have been booked to do weekly after school clubs in ex minster school and Milton abbot school and plan to get into Tavistock primarys schools too on a mission to get as many young people benefiting from extreme sports and circus skills and welcome anyone on our journey all you need is the right attitude to learning and of course all crew have intensive DBS checks to ensure a safe environment for learning .........if you want to support us please give a donation at https://pledgesports.org/projects/uskate-skatepark/ Emily rainbow is just amazing and very excited to see your progress and growth in 2015 your donations really go a long way :)
