Well 6 months ago tomorrow night, my darling who had been in a coma for 3 days opened 1 eye looked at me and took his last breath. Our wonderful sons were with us at the end and Meagan who we have lived with for the last 3 years and has watched her Dad suffer so much was at home with the children. To watch them all suffer the emotions of losing their dad was heartbreaking as you know Brian has been so close to death many times over the 17 years of his illnesses we all thought another hiccup and tomorrow he would be back up but this time it wasnt to be. As you all know the last 3 years he has been fighting for answers for himself and all his workmates who have died and those that are still fighting for their lives. My Man life without you has been heartbreaking and lonely after 46 years of living together the emptiness I feel is so hard, so many things remind me of our life together. All I hope and pray for is some closure on all your hard work. As I now prepare myself to receive your AM award very soon I just wish you were here to receive it yourself as it was so deserved. Brianie keep helping me from afar as I try to continue on your work for justice and legislation. We had many talks about your passing and life after and yes you were right about who would support me. I just thank god for the 4 wonderful lives we created together, where would I be without them and their families, I am so thankful.
