Well Amsterdamians your leaders seem to once again be at it. At 11:22 this morning I received at notice from Amsterdam City Clerk Susan Alibozek that a COW (Committee Of the Whole) Meeting was scheduled for 5:30 Tuesday afternoon December 2. The email statement said,Common Council will be holding a Committee of the Whole on December 2 to discuss policy & procedures. Mr. Reidy, your presence at the meeting is requested. Notice is attached. Based on the refined and diplomatic language used Im sure its another Hatzenbuhler-Barone-Leggiero burning at the stake. At 2;15 this afternoon Mayor Ann Thane responded, This notice is not specific enough to allow staff to prepare for the meeting. What exactly is to be discussed? What does the Council wish to achieve by holding this meeting? Next will be the Hatzenbuhler tears - we waited for her to leave town. The Mayor has once again attacked the Council - she wont work with us - we are the only council that so openly attempted these cou deta-s, The rest were cowards.
