Well.....Ashleigh-Anne had the worst night yet....horrible pains on her left side, which is opposite the side the surgery was on. They had to give her morphine for the pain and she is unable to even talk. They did an X-ray and ruled out kidney stones and are now ordering a CT with contrast for her left side. She cannot eat or drink because it triggers this horrible pain. The vein they are using for her IV and increased Prednisone is not large enough to handle the contrast (same scenario as took place earlier this week when they were scanning the liver) so they brought in IV therapy and they used ultrasound and found a larger vein....but the tech said this is about the last vein they can access. She is miserable when awake so the morphine gives some relief of the pain and allows her to sleep thru it. Just pray for an answer to this pain. As for her liver, her bilirubin continues to climb but they still assure us the increased prednisone and the increase in her anti rejection meds will turn the rejection process around. Will keep yall posted as we know more.
