Well... Basically Mom ended up like a jelly fish from her rib cage - TopicsExpress

Well... Basically Mom ended up like a jelly fish from her rib cage down today from her spinal procedure at Corvallis Hospital! >.< Sigh...it would have been nice to know BEFORE today that this was a possibility. So yup, now shes white as the walls, woozy headed, in massive pain, had Chinese torture of dozens of needles put into her spine & nowww the jelly fish effect. :/ Poor Mama! Shes some how still smiling & even though they hurt her really bad today, she just kept telling them to keep going, if this was going to help them figure out what on earth is wrong with her & can prayerfully bring her pain levels below 8 to 10. To say she is a WARRIOR doesnt even come close! They say things might get worse over the next 5 days, then magically start getting better! Wow! That would seriously be awesome!!! Well the getting a bit of relief part anyways! :D At least her legs are starting to move late tonight just super painful & numb... I raced her home, got her in her jammies & put her to bed. Then raced home to be with hubby for a couple of hours, then raced & did a massive grocery shopping trip for Mom, then went to bring in her groceries & walked into her kitchen covered in water! :( Everything blew out under her sink, valves, filters, faucet, pipes, hoses yeah.... Bless Mitchels heart! He was walking in to see how she was doing & ended up spending hours under it trying to fix & stop the water from ruining everything since it was under her cabinets, leaking into her walls all over her floors.....our HERO for sure!! Poor kid has to be up in 4 1/2 hrs to head to work! I swear hes the softest hearted kid ever! Not one whine or gripe, just scrambling as fast as he could to stop the disaster! Im so grateful Mom couldnt get out of bed when I was gone or she could have had such a severe accident coming into the kitchen! Whew! I got her up & sat her in the dining room, so she could see him work & visit with him, fed her & gave her medicines. Shes just SO relieved & tried to feed him an entire cookie jar full of cookies! Sigh....love my family, but I sure could use just 1 BORING or NON complicated day! LOL! Just so glad this procedure is done.....now the clock begins to see if it worked a little or not! Just seems so odd that this is part of the diagnosing process....but trusting our Mightest Physician above to watch over her & her surgeons & specialists! One more step in our journey .... prayerfully bringing us closer to some answers & fixes! :D
