Well Beneteler Automotive (where Steve works) had an extra special meeting at the Hall street plant today to let workers know what they were offering employees when the shop closes.Steve,being a Millwright,and therefor skilled trades,will be moving to the Kalamazoo plant,which is actually a bit closer to home.That plant will be expanding off and on for a long time,and for whomever it may help....they will need 100 employees to move there and wont get enough to do it.So, head to Manpower in February if you need a job right then.The Hall st. plant will close in March. Steve is greatly relieved,although he wanted to go to another shop in Grand rapids near the Hall street plant.But,the bonus he was offered to go to Kalamazoo was just too good to pass up.The South Carolina plant was NOT an option :/ but I knew Steve would never leave this farm anyway.He had tons of people calling him in Michigan offering him really good jobs.Steves stress level just went way down,which is really a good thing for him.
