Well, Bill had his lung surgery yesterday and today he was out of bed to a chair, eating regular food, and even standing up on his own -with some pain, of course. For those of you who may not know this the plan was to remove the right upper lobe and possibly also the middle one (the rt side has 3 of them), starting minimally invasive, (small "button hole" incisions), and proceeding to a large incision if necessary. Well, I was so happy when the surgeon told me he only had to take the one (rt upper) lobe using the less invasive method. And when it was placed under the microscope it was "dead cancer!" We are taking this as a miracle and giving God praise and thanks for it. We certainly believe in the power of prayer. And God has been faithful to fulfill all his promises. We are also very grateful to all our family and friends for their support, encouragement and prayers.
