Well Crap, I know my posts about Gwyndolynn and Lincoln are mostly lighthearted be forewarned this one sucks. Gwyndolynn has developed some Neurological issues leaving her weak in all four limbs. She cannot stand up at all. When she is positioned upright she sinks to the floor. Her feet are knuckling under and shes not trying to place them properly. My Vet and the Neurologist are much in agreement on diagnosis being a ruptured disc in her neck putting pressure on her spinal cord and interfering with her brain communicating with her body and her body responding. So, at this point we are keeping her comfortable and investing in piddle pads by the gross. I had a doggie wheelchair for my girl Diva that had been out in circulation trying to make other dogs lives better and it has come back home. A good friend of mine has modified that unit to accept additional wheels on the front so we have a four wheeled cart for her and while shes not self motivating that is my hope for the future. It certainly makes it easier to move her about. Okay shes little just 73 pounds but trying to hold her up to go potty when she has an attack of shy bladder gets tiring quickly. And she ALWAYS has shy bladder.
