Well FRIDAY is going to be a BIG day ....all eyes will be Scotlands decision which to my knowledge will be known in the early hours - if its a YES vote i am sure they will be some swift announcements before markets open by Carney and Salmond to prevent potential runs on banks etc. Just think what a YES vote will do over the next 18 months+ to economies in UK / Scotland along with todays news inflation has fallen to 1.5% - one could see interest rates on hold for a long time whilst the negotiations and currency issues / asset splitting is sorted out. I can see arguments from both sides - and personally perhaps there would be less risks and more meat to go on if there was more facts and already some infrastructure in place in Scotland already. That said - if the UK could vote tomorrow to leave the EU - i would be first in the booth ticking the box to leave - that said we have so much infrastructure in place that to leave the EU IMHO would not cause too much grief. It could be quite strange that Scotland votes YES and joins the EU (again to my knowledge this requires all member states to agree) and later the UK leaves ... bbc.co.uk/news/business-29218855
