Well Florida, it has been a good run. We had great jobs and made wonderful friends. Kids grew up to be incredible growd ups(as we say); Brie, with her passion for little people is about to finish her studies and will be the best teacher ever (sorry all you other educators) and Alex is following is passion at West Point. 8 years on the west coast and then 2 on the east coast has been great. But, all things come to an end and now we head for Charlotte, NC to begin the next adventure. I have accepted the position as Chief Operating Officer of Aldersgate United Methodist Retirement Community. I begin on 9/22 and Leslie joins me on 9/27. In the last several weeks we have sold our house, found what appears to be a great rental house for us temporarily, and are in the saying goodbye...until later mode. Through it all we have found God to be faithful, our kids to be even more incredible and flexible, and our priorities to be brought even more into focus. We look forward to being nearer to family, the work challenges that lie ahead, and the new area to get to know. I apologize in advance to the Carolina Panthers because we brought woe to the Bucs and the Jags. Looking forward to being in a college basketball hotbed. More to come....
