Well Folks... PLEASE READ.. Dean Kelly, the owner of PT Gym in Clonee(A village on the Meath/Dublin border), got in contact with myself last week asking if I would help him out promoting a charity day that he is having in his gym. Basically he has asked members of the public to call into his gym with a gift/present(fit for a child) over the next couple of Saturdays before Xmas. Dean plans to personally deliver these presents to the sick kids in Crumlins Children’s hospital on Christmas morning. This is sheer class from him, and this isn’t the first year he has done it. So I have decided to give him a massive push with this, I will be in his gym this Saturday from 12 to 1 and next saturday from 11 to 12, having a laugh and some craic with whoever calls in. I then will be joining him Xmas morning bringing all the gifts to the hospital. It’s something I am really looking forward to doing. So what I’m asking is if anyone lives near the Clonee area or knows people from the area, relations or friends, to please call in with some sort of a gift over the next 2 Saturdays. Our aim is to get 350/400 presents to have with us on the day. We want to be like Mr Duncan from Home Alone arriving with bundles of presents Xmas morning and spoil these sick children.
