Well, I am back from my first day at the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Lab. Boy did they put me through the hoops. We did an hour of testing and lining up the resonator on a cap that is just for me, and there was several hours of evaluation by 2 shrinks and a psychologist. Im really exhausted, but its really kind of interesting too. The TMS machine felt sort of like being tapped on the head, but with a little buzzing too. They know how to line it up by following landmarks = such as when they get to a certain place, they tap, and my fingers would move. Then they know to go one way or the other to find just the right spot for PTSD treatment. They were all very kind. Very gracious. Ive got some homework to do - and will return on Monday to begin the two week repetitive sessions.
