Well I am home! Things are not going quite as we had planned. As it turns out I am now in a new fight for my life! While waiting to be discharged yesterday I received a call from my case worker with BC/BS of SC. It seems they feel my donor SCT is considered an investigational procedure and they have denied it! There is an appeal process that we are starting, but I am not sure how long that will take. I am not ready to throw in the towel, but I sure could use some positive thoughts and prayers that we can convince them to change their minds. I dont think I have even been so disappointed!
