Well I am home again. After a long and tiring trip to San Diego - TopicsExpress

Well I am home again. After a long and tiring trip to San Diego the doctors did a three view endoscopy and another echo for more detail info prior to surgery. After the testing the doctor determined there was nothing he could do for me. It appears most of the leaking has stopped and is not significant enough for surgery. However there is tissue that is growing over the Mitral valve clogging it and that is what is causing my breathing, tiredness, chest pain and why I feel so awful. The report and pics are being sent to my doctor here in Mesa. Prior to my trip to San Diego the doctor told me I was not a good candidate for another open heart surgery and refused to replace the valve from the beginning of all this. He said I was a very high risk the first time and he wouldnt chance it again. Well I do need to find out what exactly my odds are and/or how long I can live with this tissue growing over the valve. At that time I will have to decide what to do. Honestly right now I just dont know. Thank you for all your prayers, Elaine
