Well, I am now 30. I havent stopped listening to the same punk rock and ska records for the last 20 years, nor I have grown out of comic books and horror movies. My yearly income has been under the poverty level since 2007. Id be lying to myself if I said I think itll change anytime soon. I havent seen a doctor or dentist in over seven years, but its cool, because dick and fart jokes continue to make me laugh. Going to bed at a reasonable time means somewhere around 2am. As far as Im concerned, Saved By The Bell is still great television programming. I have two t-shirts I got in eight grade that still fit, and you better believe I still wear them. Its going on thirteen years since I last consumed meat, and will be keeping it that way. Coffee and I are not friends, its safe to assume well never be. Each month I never know if Ill be able to pay my rent, and I still dumpster dive for food (not to mention eat leftover hotel room service when Im at a convention). Ive given up on politics, to me, its all bullshit (no matter what side youre on). I typically only shower twice a week, but sometimes its only once. Ive been without a car for eight years, however, my feet and bicycle are more than adequate to get where I need to go. I struggle with depression, but dont ever talk about it (except for passive aggressively like now). Ive never seen The Wizard of Oz, and dont care how ridiculous that may be. I dont believe in God, and have no problem if you do, just dont force it on me. I greatly prefer to watch The Evil Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre on VHS. No, Im not married. No, I dont have any kids. I have absolutely zero intentions for either, so feel free to stop asking. Three and a half years ago, I sold my business and gave up most of my life to pursue filmmaking. Will it pay off? I dont know, but Ill be damned if Im not going to give it my all. Yep. There it is, my life at 30. If you dont agree or understand it, thats fine. Live your life the way you want to, and Ill do the same. Just play nice with others.
