Well I am officially that Mom who has cancelled Christmas at our house. OR I am one of several apparently. Santa will not be coming to our house on Christmas morning. My kids will get to spend family time with everyone and then donate the items Santa was GOING to bring to someone who will truly appreciate a present. Jolly the elf has been here all week and has left messages warning of the bad behavior and pigsty bedrooms and mistreated toys.... Santa sure as heck isnt gonna bring NEW toys to kids who just throw them in the floor and break them an hour after being opened (like the toys they have already gotten from others this year.) There will be very few presents under the tree from us as it was to begin with, and even those may be left in boxes in the attic until my heathens can prove that they can take care of their belongings. I am so fed up with spending money on the few things they ask for and them the items being broken in two days or left in a pile of junk. Daddy is upstairs now with trash bags and boxes to put everything they have away for awhile. Maybe when they know how it feels to go without toys they will appreciate the ones they get to keep out. #parentingrant
