Well I am so grateful to have such lovely neighbours. My poor little Alfie was savaged by a staffie in our street today. Roly was heading for home after their walk, with Alfie on his lead, when the dog ran towards them and attacked without warning. Neighbours were out in force and managed to wrestle the dog from Alfie with much difficulty and bravery. That done, several neighbours contacted me by phone and by text to tell me to get home (I was shopping with my daughter for her birthday present) and my neighbours took Roly and Alfie home and stayed with him until I got home. The dog hospital appointment was booked and Roly had been made a cup of tea by the time I arrived. My god I dont know what we would have done without such lovely neighbours today. I am truly thankful. Alfie turned out to be okay. Lots of cuts and bruises, which definitely would have been much more serious without the quick intervention from others. Thank you so much my friends.
