Well I can say that I am impressed with the IEA riders, their coaches, and supporters that I had the honor of working with today at the show hosted by the Oakwood Manor Team and ABC Dream Team. I had never announced a show like this before and it ran like a well-oiled machine. I will happily do this again in the future. I saw a bunch of people pulling together which made the show motor along. Kudos to Nicky Kurty and Lisa Avery-Burdick for a job well-done and to the countless volunteers who helped them put this together. I especially enjoyed watching judge Karen Myers test the riders on their horsemanship by asking riders to drop their stirrups, perform accurate transitions, etc. instead of just having them w/t/c in both directions.
