Well I competed in the Jiu Jitsu World Championship Qualifier - TopicsExpress

Well I competed in the Jiu Jitsu World Championship Qualifier today with Brian Fornasiero. My first match I had a war with a very solid 10th planet grappler and ended up winning 11-0. My second match was against Ostap Manastyrski, a sick grappler who Ive seen on YouTube at all the top events. Him and I went the full time and were tied going into overtime. We had around 1 minute left and secured a beautiful inverted heel hook and I was forced to tap. It was such an honor to compete against some of the best grapplers in all of North America, especially considering guys like Gary Tonon (Metamoris) and Geovanny Martinez (just beat Jeff Glover) here and many of my idols in my division. Its still my dream to get into the ADCC World Championships for Jiu Jitsu but Ill have to keep working to improve. Thank you all so much for the support.
