Well I contacted DND about securing permission from them to use the RCAF roundel, the term Royal Canadian Air Force and they immediately responded favorably. I am now inquiring to use the official trademark of Avro Canada. If they like it, then were officially a Go and the only thing missing is me designing it, paying to have it manufactured and then...when its ready...as an artist it means more to me than anything...when its ready...every fighter pilot in Canada will want one. Yes, its designed to be that magnificent heirloom and one thing is for certain, unless its perfect and I mean perfect, I wont release anything. It will live up to the name Arrow. Also for official reasons, this project is in no way associated with the Super Arrow project. This is a stand alone heritage project to honour the Arrow and those who build her. Notwithstanding its designed by the same guy who designed the Super Arrow. Yes...it will be nothing short of breath taking! Now I just need to get back home and get to work! Wish this project luck people! Im super excited as you should be! Im not sure of an original Arrow watch ever did come out in the 1950s or not. Even the box it will come in will be immaculate and will be serialized just like the original aircraft RL-201, RL-202 etc...this will take a number of months to make, as they will be painstakingly designed here in Canada by me and then made by hand in Zurich, Switzerland by master watch builder Maurice De Mauriac. It will be magnificent. So...be excited!
