Well... I did this crazy thing. I was spontaneous. And I used my spoons for about a week. And pulled my lower back. And dislocated my (other) wrist. But I did a Thanksgiving photoshoot! ...in the middle of the woods. In the pouring rain. In a thin short sleeve dress. Sitting in the dirt. It was raining so hard that my autofocus wouldnt work properly, so none of the pictures actually turned out very well after all that. =( But Im going to edit the best picture and post it anyways cause damn it that was a lot of work!! =P So I got to the woods and scouted out the best spot, set up my camera, pulled out my cornucopia (...yeah), and turned on my camera. No card in camera. *#%^$£• So I went home and got my memory card, drove back, hauled my gear back into the woods, and got to work. As soon as I plunked myself down in the dirt, remote in hand aimed at my camera with my rain hat shielding it from the rain, I looked up... and saw a man with his dog, staring at me like I had 3 heads. Yep. Im a photographer, dont be alarmed! Im such a dork. Hahaha... He stared at me for another 5 mins as I nervously snapped my pictures, and was on his way. After checking the pictures several times, I knew the pictures werent turning out so well, but I was afraid my gear (and cornucopia) were being ruined, so I finally packed up and piled in the car. I had already been outside for maybe... an hour? Hard to say. But it was a pretty long time to be in the POURING rain while shielding things that cant get wet. The cornucopia and dried (or not so dried) corn are now over the heat vent, and Im wrapped up in a blanket while editing the photos. =) Photo to follow over at Sarah-Jill Photography! Ill share it here too
