Well, I finally did. I recorded my first video. Im not actually in it but its a video tutorial on how to do keyword research using the Google Keyword Planner Tool. But I feel good about it. This introvert has wanted to start video for ages so I feel like I really smashed through an upper limit problem. Its not perfect, as youre about to find out, but its certainly educational. Its exciting plus scary at the same time. I thought what better topic to record a video about than on how to do keyword research using the Google Keyword Planner Tool. This tool is 100% FREE. Keyword research is the process of finding the words and phrases your ideal clients are typing into Google. In this video I walk you through the exact process I use to find keywords for my own site and for my clients. I do use a couple of paid keyword tools as well but when youre starting out you can do this for free. I also walk you through how to assess the competitiveness of a keyword too using a simple trick. NOTE: It is completely unedited and unscripted because at this stage, I have no idea how to edit a video. Its not perfect. But thats been my problem you see. Ive been waiting for everything to be perfect and for the stars to align to start doing video. But I felt a surge to just start, even though its less than perfect. It doesnt have any bells and whistles, music or fancy animation so please, dont judge me too harsh. My introvert self is a little nervous as you can probably tell by the sound of my voice. There is no transcription for this video, but I will provide them as I do more (and in future, my videos will be a lot shorter). In the words of Brene Brown: Vulnerability is about showing up and being seen. Its tough to do that when were terrified about what people might see or think. Believe me I am terrified. But I published it anyway. Here it is (link in comment below).
