Well, I finally finished a round of antibiotics and steroids and am still huffing and puffing....mustve gotten a snootful at my storage unit last Tuesday!!!! But I did get to go to nursing home to see how my mother was and I was shocked!!!! The last time I saw her on Tuesday night she was strong, in good spirits, able to get out of bed, lucid.....today she was just a shell of herself, unable to stand, unable to speak; she sounds like her lungs are rattling!.....weak???? What the heck??? Of course I let my feelings be known to them though I doubt that will reverse the state my mother is in now!! I cried as we left her, sleeping, wondering if I would see her again. Just getting out and running up and down the halls at HAMPTON MANOR where mom is and getting upset had a toll on this chest cold Im still fighting!!! But I cant leave her by herself!!! She didnt even know it was me that was there behind the white mask I dont think, but she looked better when I left. I have to go back. May I take your prayers with me? I know it could very well be her time to go home to be with the Lord. I know she has lived a very long and blessed life. I just dont want her to go in that bed without her family around....I know, its not up to me, is it?!?! I just know I need fortification, so your prayers will be helpful...to me and for mom. I love my FB friends and I love my family. Hold Nana Mary in your thots, kids! Pray real hard for me, too. This day has made me sad! Though I really should be rejoicing that my mother will not have to be poked and prodded, etc anymore if she meets Jesus now, plus shell be with the other love of her life, Wayland H., finally.
